The past few days, our Kennerly "elves" have been busy creating holiday ornaments to send to Joplin as part of "One School, One Cause." During Art class, fifth-graders met with their second-grade buddies to design, paint, and glitter heart ornaments. Later, some fifth-grade students helped hot glue them to sticks the fourth-graders painted in their homerooms. We hope they will spread hope and cheer during a difficult holiday season.
