What do you get when you mix geometric shapes with primary and secondary colors? In first grade Art class at Kennerly, you end up with a beautiful carousel horse. We drew horses with geometric shapes (triangle, square, rectangle, circle) and painted the bodies primary colors. The next day, we mixed the primary colors to make secondary colors and painted the details. Finally, we cut and glued, then added white oil pastels, yarn, and a googly eye to finish our creations.
