Fifth Grade Castles
We created paper castle sculptures in fifth grade to learn about architecture and paper sculpture with tabs. After we designed the structures, we decorated with construction paper crayons, scraps, stickers, and fake spider webs. Some students even added working drawbridges! Check out our slideshow:

First Grade Artist Character Art Display!
The character-inspired artwork that first grade students created in Art class will be on display during the Holiday Reading Festival at Crestwood Court (the old Crestwood Mall, closest to the LensCrafter entrance). The festival will take place on Friday, December 2 (11am-8pm), Saturday, December 3 (10am-5pm), and Sunday, December 4 (12-5pm). In addition to the Art display and book fair, there will be visits from Clifford the Big Red Dog and Bruce Degen, the creator of the Magic School Bus series. Bobble Heads in Fourth Grade
In fourth grade Art, we created bobble heads. We started by watching a demonstration and brainstorming with sketches. Then, we made two sculptures: one for the head and one for the body. After they were fired and painted, Mrs. Mikolajczak added a spring to connect the heads and bodies. Bobble on!
